We do more than shoot

Never forget, first and foremost York Izaak Walton #67 is a conservation organization.  Sure we have great ranges and run pretty good matches, but they are in addition to, and in part, to support our conservation efforts.  Today in sub-freezing weather almost 2 dozen of us (mostly Pistol Committee too by the way) went on a tour of Barshinger Run to see what we are planning for that section of creek.  Stream restoration is a very involved and expensive process but it is part of our core mission.  When it has been completed the streams not only look more scenic, but provide better habitat for fish and wildlife, and less sediment washes downstream and into the bay.

3 Man 3 Gun announcement and 2015 schedule

This year's Three Man Three gun, or team 3 gun is scheduled for March 8th.  We're doing it early this year to get it out of the way before the point series starts in April, so get your guys together and get that check and application in the mail.  This match always fills up quickly, because it is crazy fun.

The tentative 2015 schedule has been posted also.  The dates are set, but we may switch around the 2 gun and 3 gun combinations (other than June of course).  The June Multi-gun Challenge applications will be available around the first of the year.
