Remember, in honor of Moms throughout the land, the May USPSA match is scheduled for SATURDAY, May 8th, rather than our regular Sunday.
This post is for planning purposes only. The official announcement and signup should be out early next week, do not attempt to sign up before then, all such attempts will be scrapped.

Don't get enough time with your scatter gun?
Bet you didn't know that the York IWLA (that's our club) hosts a Monday night trap shoot. Bring your gun, eyes and ears, and shells and give it a try. Don't have a scatter gun and want to try, I'll bet you can con Chet out of a lesson.

Funshoot time again.
This Saturday, the 24th is our monthly Funshoot, since the USPSA folks have started up again, we will be using some of their leftover props and such to give you more of a challenge than last month. There is a new food of the month, in honor of Easter. The wicked wheel will be back, as will our usual friends. Round count will be just under 100.
Pistol caliber carbines (yes .22Lr too) are now standard fare, bring 'em whenever you want.
Please visit the following links for info and reminders, and as always, shoot me an email at iwlafunshoot1@comcast.net with any questions or comments.

April USPSA matches, yes there are 2
On Sunday, April 11th York Izaak Walton will be hosting both pistol and rifle USPSA matches. You may shoot either or both. There will be 2 time slots: 10:00am and 1:00pm.
The pistol match will be 112 rounds, and the fee will be $20.
The rifle match will be 75 rounds and the fee will be $20.
You may use pistol caliber carbines (9mm, 40 or 45 for example) and shoot the pistol match with those. (No 223 or 308 of course).
Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Plan on being there at least 45 minutes before your first shoot time to get signed up etc. We will start to set up at 8:00. Come help if you can.
To sign up email us at yorksignup@gmail.com with your name, USPSA #, whether you are shooting pistol and/or rifle matches, which time slot(s) you want to shoot and what division you will be shooting with either or both guns. These are 2 seperate matches so you could shoot Open in one and Limited in the other for instance. Also if there is anyone you wish to be squadded with let us know.
