March 2 Gun Match

 We will be hosting this month's 2 Gun Match on March 14th. There are many divisions to choose from. All pistols must be 9mm or larger caliber. It will be 4 stages in the back pits. The match fee will be $20.

The match day schedule is as follows:

7:00 am finish set up (help is always appreciated)
8:00 am registration begins
8:30 am registration ends
8:45 am mandatory match briefing
9:00 am shooting begins

To sign up for this match email us at yorksignup@gmail.com with your name, division, and squad requests.  You should receive a confirmation within a day or two.

We do expect the spots to fill quickly.  Conversely, don't sign up if you don't intend to shoot, and if something comes up and you're not going to make it please let us know as soon as possible.  The Thursday before the match at midnight is the cut off for backing out without penalty.  People who persist in not showing up after signing up will not be invited back.  We want to benefit as many shooters as possible this season.

 The Governor of PA has eased restrictions and the board has approved the use of the club for organized outdoor activities again.  I have communicated with all of our match directors and I am happy to report they are all eager to begin matches again.  

Our schedule for the rest of the month:

Sunday, March 14th - Our first 3 gun of the year.

Sunday, March 21st - Our first USPSA match of the year.

Saturday, March 27th - Our first Fun Shoot of the year.

York 2021 Mid-Atlantic Multi-Gun Championship

 

June 12-13, 2021

This match is unique in the world of major outlaw 3 gun matches in several respects;

1. You can shoot the whole match in one day. 

2. Prizes are all checks.  This means you don't have to stick around for a prize table.  If you shoot on Saturday you can go home Saturday night.

3. The prizes are generous.  We pay out 50% of the gross.  That is a lot of money.  Over $12,000 last year.

4. We give prizes way down the list in Tac Ops.  By using a modified Lewis class payout scheme if you pick your class correctly and shoot to the best of your ability you have a chance to win hundreds of dollars even if you are way towards the bottom.


This 7 stage match will fill up quickly.  Do not hesitate to sign up if you want your choice of days.

Shooters registered before 4/1/21 get a t-shirt included in their entry fee.
$125 is very reasonable for a major match.

2021 York 3 Gun Point Series Registration

The registration fee for the 3 Gun Point Series is $100, which does not include any entries to individual matches. Only finishes in Tac-ops and Limited will earn points for the series.  The prize table will be for everyone in the Point Series in the order of finish.  If you cannot be there, someone will be allowed to pick for you. 

 

The top 16 Point Series finishers will be invited to compete in the Shoot-Off, as will the top 2 Seniors, Super Seniors, Ladies, and Juniors. Shoot-Off prizes will be cash. The payout structure will be the same as last year for the shoot-off. 

 

We have already heard back from several sponsors and the list is growing every week. We are excited about the new partners coming on board for this year.

All matches are worth 70 points except for the MAMGC which is worth 75 points.

 

Your best 4 of 6 matches will count.

 

The prize table and shoot-offs are October 10th.

The Point Series and Shoot-Off are to be 100% payback.  We don’t keep any of this money for the club.

Fun Shoot Canceled

 All matches, shoots, and set ups are canceled until further notice due to PA Covid restrictions, as well as Maryland's travel restrictions.  This does include the Fun Shoot.

All meetings, orientations, and other group activities at the club have been suspended as well.

November 21st Fun Shoot

 

Saturday, November 21st we will be hosting another Fun Shoot.

There will be 5 stages with 20-30 pieces of steel on each.  There will be no timers.  You will not need a holster.  You may use either if you like.  This is a laid back event and you can do just about anything you like as long as you're safe.  You can shoot any standard caliber handgun or carbine (no magnums or anything faster than 1300 fps).  Shotguns are fine to use with low brass 7.5 or 8 shot.  22lr is OK.  .300 BLK subsonic is ok.  You can switch guns between stages,  You can use two guns per stage (max).  Two or more people can shoot as a team.  On all 5 stages two people can shoot against each other if they want to.  Just be safe.  Kids and new shooters are welcome.

All guns should be unloaded before entering the club grounds.  Handguns will be carried without any magazine inserted in a holster, bag or case.  Long guns will have chamber flags (which we have for sale) and in a cart, case or on a sling.  Eye and ear protection is mandatory, at all times, even for spectators (which are welcome).

The entry fee is $20 for 18 and over.  $5 for under 18.  There is no advance sign up.  Just be there before 8:30 am if you want to shoot (after 8:30 if you want to be a spectator).  We will do a match briefing at 8:45 and be shooting by 9:00 am.

November 2 Gun Match

We will be hosting this month's 2 Gun Match on November 8th. There will be 4 stages. The match fee will be $20. This will be a fast and fun match. The divisions are as follows:
