The July FunShoot is here!
This coming Saturday, July 26th, York IWLA presents its monthly FunShoot.
It is that time of year, when I will again recycle and twist 4 of the awesome stages from the Multigun Challange, along with our old friends Bulls-eye, choose your own clays, and some kind of food and paint cans to blow up. There will be a total of 7-8 stages, with a target count of 100-125. Round count is entirely up to you.
I envision the following guns, pistol, shotgun and pistol caliber carbine (.22lr too), in any combination, with a pistol only option. There will be stage descriptions for those in need, and the usual scoring options of points, timed or IDC will be in place.
Setup/registration starting long about 8am, shooting brief by 8:45am shooting as soon as I can get it going.
Fee is $20 for adults, $5 for those under 18.
We require chamber flags for long guns, and we will definitely have them for sale if you need them.
Preregistration is not mandatory, but it is extremely helpful, at yorksignup@gmail.com.

Results are up
https://www.practiscore.com/results.php?uuid=3b807739-c74e-4c2b-82d2-453f96dff807&page=overall-divisionrank
There are also a couple of scores that look fishy to me. Let me know if any of your times look wrong and what you remember them to be. There's no money at stake but...
Apparently, there is no way to change divisions after the match. I can input any divisions I want before the match, but afterwards the only choices I have are IDPA divisions. I guess from now on we will have to be sure what division we're shooting when we first sign up.
The following people switched their divisions and it will not be reflected in the results:
Bernie Rhee SCCAR
Brennan Keil Lim
Dave Albanese OpenCP
Gary Swope OpenCP
Jim Fort TOCP
Nazar Skydov Lim
Paige Keil Lim
Paul Nowotarski OpenCP
Richard Knight Lim
Still it was a fun day. The after match canoeing/kayaking thing was a lot of fun. We'll be doing it again sometime.

Action Matches Sunday, July 13th
This post has been edited on 7/9/14 at 11:47 pm. There are dramatic changes. If you are signed up a new confirmation will be going out sometime Thursday.
On Sunday, July 13th we will be hosting an Action Match at York Izaak Walton.
In the back pits we will be shooting 4 (or maybe 5) stages that may be shot with pistol, pistol caliber carbines (9mm, 40, 45, 22lr etc) or a combination of pistol and carbine as your multi-gun option. The total round count will be about 120 rounds (or 136 if we shoot a 5th stage) rounds. If you're shooting 2 guns they should be pretty evenly split between the two.

No brass may be picked up until the entire match is put away at the end of the day.
