March 2016 FunShoot

This Saturday, the 26th of March, 2016, we will be hosting a 5 stage FunShoot.

We are moving closer to an all steel event each month, so I think we can try something a little new. You can run any one or combination of two of the following guns, pistol caliber handgun, pistol caliber carbine or shotgun. There will not be a 3 gun option.

Target count will be 80-100.
Final setup and registration at 8am, safety brief at 8:45, shooting close to 9am.
Cost is $20 for adults, $5 for those lucky enough to be under 18 years.

There will be a setup for this Friday afternoon, email me if you are interested in helping out.

Howard got us a new toy for us to play with, I really think you are going to like it.

As always, York is a cold range, all firearms will remain unloaded until the shooter is at the firing line and directed to do so.
Conceal carry is forbidden at this event.

That being said, you can carry your unloaded firearm around the range holstered, boxed, bagged, carted or in a sock.  Long guns require a chamber flag. You can load magazines and carry them just don't put them in the gun.

Bring family and friends, we are very new shooter and kid friendly. Spectators are welcome!

Everyone on the range MUST wear eye and ear protection. We will be shooting steel, and it creates shrapnel, little flying bits of metal that can hit you on occasion.

A note about Aprils FunShoot, it has been moved to Saturday April 16th.

For questions, please feel free to comment here, or email me at ghswope@gmail.com

Annon - Next time sign in with a name.....
To get into this, all you need to do is show up. Bring a handgun in any standard pistol caliber, mags, ammo and a safe way to carry it around. ID yourself as an FNG at registration, and we will show you the way.

Jon - Setup should be done by 5, see you Saturday morning.
