All I can say is WOW for the turnout for the first shoot of the 10 week plate shooting league at York. I think everyone enjoyed themselves while we got a feel for how to meet the needs of our shooters. We ran 76 trips(3 strings of 5 plate engagements). We'll have 2 centerfire racks setup next week to keep things moving more efficiently. Thanks again to all the shooters for coming out and sharing the afternoon with us!
I look forward to seeing more shooters out there each week. This is a great way for club members to use up their hours card punches if you don't already use them on matches. Lots of socializing on top of the shooting.
Consider bringing out your wives and kids to this super simple shoot that's geared towards everyone of all skill levels.
Show up anytime before 6 and we'll sign you up and get you in que to shoot some plates. It's dead simple and a lot of fun.
