The Area 8 Multi-gun Championship is finished and it was quite a success.
Stage 4 CRO Dominatin' Dave walks back to the start. Note the shooter following him and all the shotgun ammo he's carrying. This was a 32 round course with 7 Blow-outs, 15 pieces of steel, and 17 claybirds. Keeping the gun loaded was the tricky part.
The rack of prepped rifles on stage 5. What cool toys we have. I figure there was probably close to a half a million in gear there between the 99 shooters. I might be on the conservative side with that figure.
The stage 4 crew, Lew W. Scott M. and Bob K. did a tremendous job keeping the shooters moving. This stage involved about a 100 yard travel to reset every shooter. Still, they kept pace with the other stages. Amazingly there were few back-ups anywhere in the match, and the shooters used them to prep their gear, so there was really no down time anywhere. Also pictured are AD Alan M. and shooter James C.
