The entire place is closed for the annual Youth Field Day, sponsored by the York Area Sportsmen for Youth, this Saturday, June 2nd. This is a great outdoors event for kids ages 8-18, exposing them to things from archery to canoeing to fishing to trap shooting and plenty more. Attendance is by pre registration only, is limited to 200 kids, fills up fast and is free to all. If you missed out this year, watch our club calendar (http://www.yorkiwla.org/id21.html) for next years date (usually 'round the first weekend in June) and sign your kids up. They will love it.
