Stages for the June Multi-gun

Here are the stages for the June Multi-gun:

http://www.yorkiwlaipsc.com/forms/York_2D3G_Stages_Spr2013.pdf

Keep in mind we reserve the right to make changes to these stages right up until the first shooter starts each stage.  However, it is our intent to be as true to these drawings as possible.  It is nice to have some idea what to prepare for when going to a match.  For instance, you may notice you'll need a sling for your rifle on stage 6, or that you'll be shooting slugs at 100 yards on stage 3.  Gear up, and practice up.  We plan on testing as many skills as possible.

This match requires advance sign up and the details for that are in one of last weeks post here on this blog.  At this time there are still open spots available for both days, but the applications are pouring in and I doubt they are open for long.

As you can see from these stages we'll be putting a lot of work into this match.  If you're familiar with the crew at York Izaak Walton you know we do our best to put on a first class show.  We think you'll find it to be a real bargain at $60 when compared to other multi-gun matches.

Howard,

Do you have a round count estimate so I can see if I can get enough ammo to participate?

I could probably count them up from the stage diagram but I'm guessing you'd already know that number.

Thanks
Bob

How does the bear trap on the last stage work?

Are the symmetric stages (1,4,7) shot man-on-man?

Bear trap.... You step on the trap and it activates a swinging target that appears and disappears behind a no shoot..... No this match is individual all targets are shot by a single person

Quick note: Sling work is something we're seeing more of at 3-Gun matches. If you're in the market for a sling my favorite is the Armageddon Gear carbine sling. My 2nd favorite would be the VTAC padded sling.

Round count can vary greatly depending on how you shoot the stages. There is a lot of option built in to many of them.

Steve,
Here is what I see below. You'll have to figure out how you want to share the targets, to figure out a better count for you. Obviously you'll also have to consider how much you will miss to determine a "how much to bring number"

MINIMUM
STAGE SHOT RIFLE PISTOL SLUGS
1 9 20 0 0
2 0 20 10 0
3 5 8 6 3
4 8 0 24 0
5 16 0 12 0
6 2 12 2 0
7 20 16 0 0
total 60 76 54 3

SHARED/OPTIONAL
STAGE SHOT RIFLE PISTOL SLUGS
1 8 8 0 0
2 0 16 16 0
3 0 0 0 0
4 12 0 12 0
5 8 0 8 0
6 0 24 24 0
7 0 0 0 0
total 28 48 60 0

Howard,
For stage 6, on the cardboard IPSC's, for the upper scoring section, only 1 hit is required in the A or B zone?

Thanks
Bob
